Meet Dr Bob DeMarco, D.M.D.
Dr. DeMarco was born in southern California in 1958. He is the middle child between two sisters. He has been married for over thirty years to his high school sweetheart, who is a registered nurse. They have three wonderful children. His hobbies include bird hunting, big game hunting, fly fishing, camping, hiking, sand dunning, snow skiing and SCUBA diving.
Dr. DeMarco attended California State University at Fresno and graduated in 1983 with a Biology degree and a minor in Chemistry. He attended The University of Pennsylvania where he received a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 1987. He also attended a Post graduate residency program at Loma Linda Veterans Administration Hospital and graduated in 1988. While in dental school he was an active member and past vice president in the Psi Omega Fraternity. Dr. DeMarco has been a Member of the American Dental Association since 1985 and a Member of the Arizona Dental Association since 1989.
Dr. DeMarco has lived and worked within the community of Glendale, AZ since he moved here in 1988. He worked at CIGNA for six years and left CIGNA at the level of Dental Clinic Administrator. He has worked in several private practices as an associate. Dr. DeMarco built his first practice from scratch at 91st Avenue and Union Hills Drive from 1994 until 2004. His current office was built in 2004 at 88th Avenue and Union Hills Drive and has no plans to move. He shares the location with another dentist, Dr. Brent Hall. However, they have two separate practices and share no patients. He has four hygienists who work with him. Dr. DeMarco absolutely loves to practice general dentistry for ages 3 to 103!
In addition to his dental practice, hobbies, and family life, Dr. DeMarco also has done voluntary work at Central Arizona Shelter Society (CASS) for 10 years.
